In Mobile, the dog days of summer are a time to look for the nearest hammock underneath the shadiest tree and kick back and relax. But the Residents at Sacred Heart decided mid-summer days are a good time to have some fun! The First Annual Sacred Heart Fashion and Talent Show was held on July 31 in the Laurice Haik Zoghby Auditorium featuring fashions, song and dance presented by Residents, staff and volunteers. Residents Katheryn Boulo, Delores Green, Mary Cassino, Marie Fillingim, Leona Inge, Willie Hill, Jean Shinn and Florie Walker modeled colorful summer fashions to start the show. Brother Mathias Amos kicked off the talent offerings singing a lively rendition of “I’m My Own Grandpa”. The music continued with a solo sung by staff member Pamela White and a beautiful praise dance offered by Adrienne Green. Many thanks to all who shared their smiles, music and talent to bring joy and laughter into our Home on a hot summer day!
